The test is a weakness of the Bangladesh cricket team. Bangladesh is an unknown team in this highest format of cricket. Despite performing well in the other two formats, they seem to have no patience or ability during Tests. Bangladesh got test status in 2000 as a Test playing nation, but the record of achievements is empty!
Bangladesh is the only team to have faced all Test playing countries in Test matches. But so far not been able to win matches with all the teams. Such as India, Pakistan, New Zealand, and even Afghanistan. Afghanistan got the status of a Test-playing country some years ago. Bangladesh team lost the test series with them!
However, Bangladesh didn't win in nine of the last ten matches. In the tenth match, they faced Ireland at Mirpur ground. Bangladesh test team led by Shakib fulfilled their regret by winning by 7 wickets in that match.
The match started on April 4 at Mirpur Sher Bangla Ticket Stadium. At the beginning of the match, the Ireland captain decided to bat after winning the toss. Batting first, the Irish openers didn't make a good start. The first wicket was lost at just 11 runs. Then two more wickets at 27 and 48 runs put the team under pressure. By handling that pressure, the team stopped at 214 runs in the first innings. For Bangladesh, spinner Taijun Islam did an amazing performance with the ball.
In response, Bangladesh scored 369 runs in their first innings with Mushfiqur Rahim's hundred, Shakib's 87, Mehdi Hasan Miraj's half-century, and Liton's 43. As a result, the team got a lead of 150+ runs.
Ireland went into bat in their second innings and started with a batting disaster. The first four wickets were lost by just 13 runs. At the end of the 3rd day, they were trailing by 128 runs in the match. As a result, the Bangladesh team got a chance to win the match by innings. But the Bangladeshi bowlers couldn't do that. With the unbelievable batting from Irish batters, they passed 128 runs and set a target of 137 runs. Which was incredible. However, Bangladesh easily crossed that target and won by 7 wickets.

Earlier ODI and T20 series between Bangladesh and Ireland have been held. Where Bangladesh won the series in both formats. Ireland's only win in the entire series was the last T20 match.
I think most cricket lovers thought that Bangladesh would develop faster in Test cricket than they have managed to but at the same time in the T20 era we know it's very difficult for long form cricket to compete against white ball cricket. In that sense the slow progress of Bangladesh in Tests is mirrored by the fall in results of sides like Sri Lanka who many hoped Bangladesh would be able to emulate with their success on the global stage
Hope so! But, You can see Bangladesh is progressing day by day!
Litton Das's current form is a good sign of Batting strengh for BD side, to me - I think he added +10 in the parameter of Bat order for the team. Very realistically, Tamim wont continue long and we needed a solid substitute in this position . Nice to see, Litton on the rescue.
What I suppose, Test crick is more of holding a decent temperament. Who knows what to do when on what occasions against whom is the mantra, and hopefully the nee team management under Chandika would revive that.

Little is now poster boy of Bangladesh. If he continue like this way in future he can broke many more records.
But I not satisfied by the Bangladesh's performance in at last test match. They should win this by an innings....
