Real Madrid are into the semis !!

The Champions League 2022/23 season quarterfinals are underway. Manchester City, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and AC Milan won the first leg of the quarter-finals. Manchester City beat hot favorites Bayern Munich 3-0, while Inter Milan won 2-0 against Benfica.

In the other two quarter-final matches, Real Madrid won 2-0 at home against Chelsea, and AC Milan, another traditional Italian club, defeated Napoli 1-0 in a thrilling match.

The current champion Spanish giant Real Madrid and English giant Chelsea met yesterday in the second leg match after the first leg. Real was far ahead in this match due to victory in the 1st league. Last night, the 2nd leg match of the quarter-finals was played at Stamford Bridge in Chelsea.

Chelsea had a chance to make a comeback as the match was played on their field. But in the end, they failed to make a comeback! On the contrary, the team conceded 2 goals in the second leg after the first leg. In this, the current champion Real Madrid qualifies for the semis by winning the two legs by 4-0.

There was a lot of interest among the fans regarding this match. Because the two familiar faces of the Champions League are Real and Chelsea. These two teams often face each other in the knock-out stages. They faced each other in the last two seasons as well. Where Chelsea won once and Real won once. Brazilian star Rodrigo scored for Real in the 58th minute of the match after halftime. As a result, Chelsea fell behind in the match.

Rodrigo scored again in the 80th minute of the match to secure Real's place in the semis. If there are no more goals in the match, Real Madrid won the second leg with a margin of 2-0 goals. They won by a margin of 4-0 in two legs.

Real will face either Manchester City or Bayern Munich in the semis. However, City leading 3-0 in the first leg, they have a higher chance of going through to the semis. If so, the football world will see City Real fight once again in the semis!
