August 3 2022. Hot.
Another hot day. Somewhere around 37°c.
I cleaned two b&b rooms and the apartment before 10am (luckily the guests left early)
Walked the dogs before 7am then again before it got too hot, before 11. Then again just now (picture taken round the corner from here about half an hour ago).
The dogs are bored. It's hard work because their routine has changed to account for the weather, and no matter how many times I explain that, they don't seem to get it!
Our sick cat is bored too. He wants to go out. He doesn't want to wear a collar. He is a free spirit and we are keeping him prisoner!
Going to be hot overnight. Bit cooler tomorrow, apparently. But not much! 32°c... 🥵

In Central France. It's hotter a couple of hours south of here (over 40) and at least it cools down a bit at night.
This is the third heatwave this year (in the last 65 years there has been 45 heatwaves in France, 3 of them this year...)
Still could be worse I hear it is over 50°c in Iraq today...
The earth is trying to tell us something and we've been ignoring her
I am off to France in the next few days. Hope its not that hot.
Agree though. The mad temperatures are the way the earth is warning us we need to change.
