Slushy Sunday - Alive And Thriving - Actifit: December 10, 2023

On my Sunday it got slightly warmer causing some more snow to melt, and that made it slushy again, which was not too fun.
I am still walking everywhere, and I got a few pictures from the late afternoon and evening which I hope you will enjoy.
In the day I rested up for a long while as I needed it, and on Hive I focused on the daily tasks, and I completed many of them, but it got too late for Alive Chat so that was posted on Monday instead.
This is my participation in the #POLIAC competition run by @poliac aka @browery, and my participation in #MAcFiT from @macfit aka @merthin.
Here are some pictures from my day.
Above the bigger streets and sidewalks was wet and quite slushy, while the smaller walkways was a bit less so as you can see below.
Just above is the canal between Kungsholmen and the mainland taken from the Barnhus Bridge, and there is still some dark ice on the water.
And below is the same canal but closer to City Hall with it's big tower, and here there is no ice, and this was taken a lot later, and it can't be seen in this picture as too many obstructions are in the way but the Nobel Prize festivities was taking place in City Hall while I took this picture.

Yeah here in the Northampton UK we may see some in December but these days we get a day or 2 from January to sometimes March and is nearly always washed away by rain 🤣

Which is worse, everything being frozen or everything being half melted and wet? I would think the cold will still be there so being wet and cold would be worse.
