El campeonato 2021 de MotoGP en la cual se consagró por primera vez campeón en la categoría máxima del motociclismo, Fabio Quartararo, fue una temporada bastante interesante, donde vimos pilotos con muchos talento y que serán la nueva cara de esta categoría, donde ya como les mencione en mi anterior post el retiro de su máxima figura como lo es el italiano Valentino Rossi y debido a la lesión grave que sufrió Marc Marquez ya no es el mismo y no sabemos si la va a llegar a pasar, donde se perdió las primeras carreras de la temporada y la última, algo que preocupa a sus seguidores. Esta temporada nos dejó varios ganadores, que a pesar de que el título de piloto se decidió tres carreras antes de finalizar el calendario, pues se vio una muy buena paridad entre piloto, lo que realmente se inclinó por el piloto de Yamaha fue la constancia y las pocas caídas que tuvo.

This season left us several winners, and despite the fact that the rider's title was decided three races before the end of the calendar, there was a very good parity between riders, what really leaned towards the Yamaha rider was the consistency and the few crashes he had.

Quartararo es un joven piloto francés, nacido en Niza el 20 de Abril de 1999, lo que quiere decir que tan solo tiene 22 años de edad. Antes de esta temporada 2021 en 103 carreras había obtenido 5 victorias, a la cual le sumo 5 más obtenidas este año en los Grandes Premios de Doha, Portugal, Italia, Países Bajos y Gran Bretaña, donde además obtuvo dos segundos lugares ( Gran Premio de San Marino y en el de las Américas), 3 terceros lugares (Grandes Premios de Francia, Alemania y Estiria), 5 veces partió en la 1 posición (Grandes Premios de Portugal, España, Francia, Italia y Catalunya) y sumo puntos en todas las carreras que disputo (el total del calendario), algo que es realmente impresionante y me gustó mucho, sin embargo tuvo algunas malas carreras, pero esto es normal ya que la moto no se adaptaba de la mejor manera a las características de lagunas pista y más con la baja potencia de la moto en comparación a Ducati que eran bastante más rápidas.

Quartararo is a young French rider, born in Nice on April 20, 1999, which means he is only 22 years old. Before this season 2021 in 103 races he had obtained 5 victories, to which he added 5 more obtained this year in the Grand Prix of Doha, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands and Great Britain, where he also obtained two second places (Grand Prix of San Marino and the Grand Prix of the Americas), 3 third places (Grand Prix of France, Germany and Styria), 5 times he started in the 1st position (Grand Prix of Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and Catalunya) and scored points in all races, Spain, France, Italy and Catalunya) and scored points in all the races that he disputed (the total of the calendar), something that is really impressive and I liked a lot, however he had some bad races, but this is normal because the bike was not adapted in the best way to the characteristics of some tracks and more with the low power of the bike compared to Ducati that were much faster.

Otra de las gratas sorpresas de esta temporada es la mejoría del equipo Ducati en los circuitos cuya trazada estaban en su mayoría de curvas lentas y rápidas, la ventaja que tenían en la temporada pasada eran más que todo en pista de rectas muy largas, pero esto cambio en este temporada y más con la llegado de Francesco Bagnaia, piloto italiano quien se dice que será el sucesor del Doctor como se le conoce a Valentino, además que dicho piloto joven se formó en la academia del ya retirado piloto. Bagnaia tuvo una buena temporada, donde obtuvo varias victorias, un total de 4 y dos de maneras consecutivas en las últimas dos fechas los calendarios, el GRANDE PRÉMIO BREMBO DO ALGARVE y GRAN PREMIO MOTUL DE LA COMUNITAT VALENCIANA. Lo que más perjudico a este piloto fue las dos veces que no sumo puntos, además de algunos malos resultados y más que Fabio fue mejor que él.

Another of the pleasant surprises of this season is the improvement of the Ducati team in the circuits whose layout were mostly slow and fast corners, the advantage they had last season were mostly on track with very long straights, but this changed this season and more with the arrival of Francesco Bagnaia, Italian rider who is said to be the successor of the Doctor as it is known to Valentino, in addition that this young rider was formed in the academy of the already retired pilot. Bagnaia had a good season, where he won several victories, a total of 4 and two in a row in the last two dates of the calendars, the GRANDE PRÉMIO BREMBO DO ALGARVE and GRAN PREMIO MOTUL DE LA COMUNITAT VALENCIANA. What hurt this rider the most was the two times he did not score points, in addition to some bad results and more than Fabio was better than him.

Otra noticia grata que nos deja esta temporada es el regreso de Marc Márqués y los ganes que obtuvo, un total de 3 con 4 salidas en el primer lugar en 14 grandes premios disputados, sin embargo la verdad es que este piloto está en duda si podrá pelear nuevamente algún campeonato y más con los jóvenes pilotos a la cual se debe enfrentar y más cuando viene de una lesión muy grave que lo alejo de todo una temporada completa. Este piloto es bastante talentoso y muy agresivo, con una sed de victoria que no se puede negar, pero si les soy sincero no es de mis pilotos favoritos pero no hay que negar que es la cara de la categoría y ahora más con la retirada de Rossi. Esperemos que puede competir la siguiente temporada y que pueda pelear por el título.

Another welcome news that this season leaves us is the return of Marc Marques and the wins he got, a total of 3 with 4 starts in first place in 14 Grand Prix contested, however the truth is that this driver is in doubt if he can fight again any championship and more with the young drivers to which he must face and more when he comes from a very serious injury that kept him away from everything a full season. This rider is quite talented and very aggressive, with a thirst for victory that can not be denied, but if I'm honest he is not one of my favorite riders but there is no denying that he is the face of the category and now even more with Rossi's retirement. Let's hope that he can compete next season and that he can fight for the title.

Otro piloto que tuvo una buena temporada fue Jack Miller de Ducati quien obtuvo dos victorias, 5 poles en 18 grandes premios disputados y donde acumuló 181 puntos que le dio el 4 lugar en la tabla general del campeonato. Entre los otros pilotos que obtuvieron por lo menos una victoria tenemos a Brad Binder de KTM en el gran premio de Austria, Jorge Martin en la primera carrera que se disputo en Austria y lo mejor es que lo logró con una moto que no es de un equipo oficial pero sin embargo le dan muchos materiales y piezas de la moto 2021, Maverick Viñales y Miguel Oliveia fueron otros que lograron al menos un gane. Esta temporada tuvo un total de 8 ganadores, lo cual es un buen número.

En general esta temporada fue muy entretenida, con varios ganadores, pero también hubieron grandes premios que no fueron tan buenos, pero más que todo esto se debió a los problemas presentados por los neumáticos, algo que fue muy criticado por los pilotos y equipos, ya que no es posible que este hubiese jugado un papel importante en el campeonato y más aun cuando incluso los pilotos no tenían la sensación de que se iban a caer y esto era lo que realmente pasaba. Espero que para la próxima temporada 2022 esto pueda cambiar.

Overall this season was very entertaining, with several winners, but there were also grand prix that were not so good, but most of all this was due to the problems presented by the tires, something that was highly criticized by drivers and teams, as it is not possible that this would have played an important role in the championship and even more so when even the drivers did not have the feeling that they were going to fall and this was what really happened. I hope that for the next season 2022 this can change.
