El piloto qatarí Nasser Al Attiyah del equipo Toyota en esta edición 45 del Rally Dakar asaltó la punta tras la mala fortuna de sus rivales, combinado de sus buenas actuaciones en lo que va de estos cuatros días de competencia, aunque en realidad han pasado tan solo tres etapas, pero el día 31 de Diciembre se disputo la etapa Prólogo. En lo que va de esta competición ya hemos tenido mucha acción en estos tres días de carrera, donde varios pilotos han recuperado terreno luego de un primer y segundo día malo, ya sea por fallos mecánicos o alguna sanción por una acción fuera del reglamento, pero también otros han tenido mala suerte y han tenido que abandonar este Rally 2023. El día de hoy les voy a traer una reseña donde les voy a comentar un poco lo que fueron las etapas 2 y 3, ya que serán si mal no recuerdo dos semanas de competición y para no ser muy repetitiva les voy a traer un análisis más o menos cada dos días de competencia, donde además de daré mi opinión de cómo se va desarrollando esta competencia, una de las más importante que abre este año deportivo de automovilismo.

Nasser Al Attiyah fue el ganador de la segunda etapa donde se esperaban recorrer unos 431 kilómetros de una especial cronometrado, donde varios de sus rivales tuvieron problemas en el camino ya que esta difícil ruta tenía muchas piedras en el camino, que no solo afectaban en el físico de los pilotos ya que los coches y diferentes categorías saltaban muchos los vehículos, causando de esta manera pinchadura en las llantas, donde algunos se vieron afectados en una ocasión como fue el caso de Al Attiyah. Por otro lado tenemos a Sebastien Loeb, el francés se vio en problemas debido a que perdió más de una hora ya que su le pincharon al menos tres veces una de sus llantas, la cual lo obligó a detenerse en el camino para hacer los cambios, pero también se quejó luego de esta segunda etapa de mucho dolor ocasionado porque su auto saltaba mucho por las piedras tan grande que había en el camino, incluso las catalogó como uno balones de fútbol.

A pesar de haber ganado esta segunda etapa Nasser, el piloto español Carlos Sainz logro mantener la primera posición en la tabla general de tiempo ya que terminó en la tercera posición perdiendo tan solo un poco más de minutos del tiempo de Al Attiyah. Stéphane Peterhansel fue otro de los favoritos que perdió un tiempo considerable en esta segunda etapa, al llegar retrasado con respecto al líder y ganador por más de media hora, todo por lo difícil que era esta etapa. El ganador de esta recortada etapa fue el francés Guerlain Chicherit de GCK MOTORSPORT quien finalizó este día con un tiempo de 03H 22' 59'', mientras que en la segunda posición quedo el argentino Orlando Terranova a 5 minutos del líder y en el tercer lugar concluyó Yazeed Al Rajhi a 8 minutos y medio de Guerlain Chicherit. Por otro lado tenemos a Nasser Al Attiyah quien finalizó en la quinta posición de esta tercera etapa, donde tal vez fue un poco cauteloso por mal tiempo, además que con este resultado lograba tomar la punta de la general.

Por otro lado Sainz, Loeb y Peterhansel han quedado fuera del top 10.

La próxima etapa 4 se disputará el día de mañana Martes 04 de Enero de 2023 desde Alula hasta Ha´il con 447 kilómetros cronometrados a recorrer, pero la distancia total que las diferentes categorías deben dar es de 669 para llegar al sitio de salida de la etapa 5.
¿Qué es el Rally Raid? Pues no es más que un tipo de automovilismo y motociclismo, donde tenemos diferentes categorías, donde en cada día de actividad cada uno de los participantes deben recorrer una gran cantidad de distancia entre localizaciones, que van desde pueblos hasta zonas desiertas. Esta disciplina también se le conoce como rally de campo, donde es tan complicado que incluso los pilotos se suelen perder, ya que no pueden encontrar la ruta o los puntos de control por lo cual deben pasar. A diferencia del WRC (Campeonato Mundial de Rally donde se hacen para etapas en un mismo día, en el Rally Raid es una solo etapa pero de una gran distancia, que incluso suelen pasar los 300km. El Rally Dakar es el evento principal de todos los que se dan en el año del campeonato mundial de Raid.

Esta competencia aunque muy emocionante, me ha dejado consternado en el pasado ante los fallecimientos de pilotos que suceden en estos terrenos tan agrestes donde se desarrolla, muchas veces pensando si era necesario continuar con el rally, pero bueno por supuesto no se iba a detener y sin duda es una de las competencias mas desafiantes del mundo, excelente poderla seguir por aquí! saludos!
Se nota que has visto el Rally Dakar en el pasado y si es cierto, han llegado a morir pilotos ya que este es un Rallies que es bastante peligroso para los pilotos pero al final el automóvilismo en general es así, pero también la organización trata de garantizar la mayor seguridad posible para los conductores por ello se acortó la etapa de hoy, pero no dejo de ser una disciplina deportiva de alto riesgo. Este año han habido caídas fuertes con lesiones (algunos han seguido) y han debido abandonar, nada que lamentar por los mismo y estemos que siga así.
