Decidimos dejar el carro y pasar por las zonas urbanas que normalmente no podemos detenernos a apreciar.

Después nos echamos una cáscara de basquet en la colonia.

Logramos los 25,000 pasos con eso.

We decided to leave the car and walk through the urban areas we normally can’t stop to appreciate.

After that, we played a quick game of basketball in the neighborhood.

With that, we hit 25,000 steps.

El puente Matute Remus, inaugurado en 2011, honra al ingeniero José María Matute Remus, famoso por mover un edificio entero en 1950. Es un puente atirantado, ícono moderno de Guadalajara, que de noche se ilumina con luces LED de colores para eventos y celebraciones. Aunque fue polémico al inicio, hoy es un referente urbano y uno de los puntos más fotografiados de la ciudad.

The Matute Remus Bridge, inaugurated in 2011, honors engineer José María Matute Remus, famous for moving an entire building in 1950. It is a cable-stayed bridge and a modern icon of Guadalajara, which lights up at night with LED colors for events and celebrations. Although it was controversial at first, today it is an urban landmark and one of the most photographed spots in the city.
