New phone great!📱🤩New Fitbit not so great!⌚🤔: January 14th 2022

This is my first post from my new (well... refurbished) phone! 📱🤩🎉
My new (well...refurbished lol) Fitbit arrived aswell! 👏🏻 Unfortunately I'm not impressed! While it was on my wrist the whole time, it only counted 4,236 steps.⌚ 😔 Whereas my phone, which wasn't constantly with me, counted 6,699 steps! 📱💪🏻
I'm disappointed in my Fitbit! I thought it would catch steps the phone missed and that my step count would rise. Instead it's counting less, quite a lot less! 🤦🏻♀️😞
It looks as if I just wasted money on an expensive 'watch' when I already have 3 of those!⌚😔
It also looks like my new phone will also be coming with me to the bathroom! 📱🚺😓
I'm feeling quite disappointed about this, so today's photo is following that line of deception. Do you remember this bougainvillea from a post a couple of months ago in November? It was green, lush and covered in flowers! Now it's leaf less, flower less and apparently dying! None of the other bougainvillea in town look like this and this one has never looked so bad. I'm wondering if someone poisoned it! 🍂😥

It is interesting how different devices are sensitive to steps in different ways. I have a Samsung watch and it is always higher than my phone but then I wear it all day 😁🙄
Actifit is usually a bit higher than the Samsung app on the same phone. I have never tried a Fitbit though.

Yeah, they really don't count the same! My new phone with Actifit seems to be counting the best, better than my old phone, the Fitbit which counts around 30% less and the Samsung Health app on the same phone which counts about 40% less!
I suspected Samsung watches would count even better (I've been a Samsung fan for years) than the phone. I only bought the Fitbit because it's the only one @actifit works with, otherwise I would definitely have bought a Samsung watch instead. If I'd know beforehand that it wouldn't count better than the phone, I wouldn't have bought it! I'm in half a mind to return it. What's holding me back is that it records my sleep paterns in detail and that's an area I need to work on! lol

I am a big Samsung fan and that is why I bought the watch. I like the analysis it does of my running and it tells me how to improve my overall running style. It seems to work quite well and of course also analyses my sleep patterns.
The only downside is that I have to carry my phone when I run as I need the Actifit count.

I wish @actifit would give us the option of Samsung watch too, I can't be the only one whose Fitbit counts less, a LOT less! I only bought it for that too! :( Thankfully my new phone is counting my steps properly, I try not to think of all those thousands and thousands of missed steps all these years! I would have been a lot higher up on the Top 250 and Top 500!!!
If it's any consolation, I have to carry my phone everywhere too (still)! lol

Haha, none of us want to lose steps. Its so annoying when we know we have made the steps but they weren't counted.

I know that feeling! I'm not Fitbit user, I use miBand, but it always gives me a different number of steps. Sometimes it is higher, but sometimes it's lower. Later on, I realized thatmy steps keep counted even tho I didn't walk at all, for example when I ride a motorcycle, drive a car, or take a bus. But since it's cheap and the number makes me happy (because it makes me look like an active person who can walk 10.000 steps per day), I don't mind it.
Anyway, your activity number is aesthetic. 6699. Such a lucky number.
Hello Kyu, thanks for visiting my post! Wow you are lucky if your miBand counts steps that you haven't taken! lol It's an awful lot better than not counting steps you HAVE made!!! LOL I guess it doesn't help you here on @actifit though, as they only work with Fitbit!
