"Lay back" es un truco clásico en el patinaje de piscinas y bowls, el cual consiste en hacer un grind en el coping de la transición, inclinando tu cuerpo hacía atrás para colocar el brazo trasero sobre el concreto, o el mismo coping, lo cual da una noción como si te estuvieras recostando de espaldas, esto hace obvio el por que nombrar este truco así ya que la traducción al español de la palabra layback es "recostarse".
