FungiFriday: My first contact with mushrooms (Ganoderma-Panaeolus) [ENG] [ESP]

Hello, Good Evening!!! 🌙 Today I want to share with you the FungiFriday community in charge of @ewkaw, some wonderful images of mushrooms that last weekend I was able to take on a nature tour in my city. Hola, Buenas Noches!! 🌙 Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes la comunidad de FungiFriday a cargo de @ewkaw, unas maravillosas imágenes de setas que el fin de semana pasado pude tomar en un recorrido por la naturaleza de mi ciudad. It's my first time participating in this initiative that I love, because it stimulates in my walks to be alert and active looking for mushrooms 😁 to make the posts. Besides that I have already seen several contents of friends like @jlufer, @reachdreams, @littlebee4 @biologistbrito and @ewkaw that are beautiful.

To begin with my section, I will tell you that I had never had this experience of observing these organisms so closely. To take these pictures, I had to go into the forest, since I live in the center of the city and it is very difficult to find them.

The first species I discovered was the so-called “Ganoderma Applanatum” or artist's shell, as I found it in the trunk 🪵 of a decaying Framboyan tree as a parasite.

Es mi primera vez participando en esta iniciativa que me encanta, porque estimula en mis caminatas a estar pendiente y activo buscando hongos 😁 para realizar los post. Además que ya he visto varios contenidos de amigos como @jlufer, @reachdreams, @littlebee4 @biologistbrito y @ewkaw que son bellos.

Para comenzar con mi sección, pues les comentaré que nunca había tenido esta vivencia de observar tan de cerca estos organismos. Al realizar estas tomas fotográficas, tuve que adentrarme al bosque, ya que vivo en centro de ciudad y es muy difícil de encontrarlos.

La primera especie que descubrí fue la llamada "Ganoderma Applanatum" o concha del artista, pues la hallé en el tronco 🪵 de un árbol de Framboyán en descomposición a modo parásito.

This cap rot fungus is usually semicircular, fan-shaped or shell-shaped. When young, its margin is white and then yellowish, with a brown-orange surface, usually covered with a layer of spore powder.

It is really beautiful up close, its lower part is very soft and whitish, that's why it is called artist's fungus, whatever you write stays forever on its bark.

Este hongo de pudrición modo sombrero, suele ser de forma semicircular, en abanico o concha. Cuando son joven su margen es de color blanco y después amarillento, con una superficie marrón-naranja, normalmente cubierta con una capa de polvo esporal.

La verdad es bellísimo de cerca, su parte baja es bien suave blanquecina, por eso le dicen hongo del artista, lo que escribas se queda para siempre en su corteza.

This variety is quite frequent in the autumn-spring season, growing in groups on old and weakened deciduous trees which it parasitizes.

The example of this mushroom, born in the felled Framboyant 🪵 , where it already had a hive of 5 specimens in different corners of the tree.

Esta variedad es bastante frecuente en la época de Otoño-Primavera, crecen formando grupos sobre árboles caducifolios viejos y debilitados a los que parasita.

El ejemplo de esta seta, nace en el Framboyán talado 🪵 , donde ya tenía una colmena de 5 ejemplares en distintos ángulos del árbol.

This contact with nature is always beautiful and pleasant, you find every detail that is unique and unforgettable, an example is this fusion between two totally different types of trees, with a mixture of roots, giving an exceptional shape to the walkers who are looking for rarities.

The photos I know they don't go with the community, but I share them about my adventure in search of mushrooms and pseudo mushrooms. 🤗

Este contacto con la naturaleza siempre es hermoso y agradable, encuentras cadas detalles que son únicos e inolvidables, un ejemplo es esta fusión entre dos tipos de árboles totalmente distintos, con una mezcla de raíces, dando una forma excepcional a los caminantes que están en busca de rarezas.

Las fotos se que no van con la comunidad, pero las intercambio sobre mi aventura en busca de hongos y pseudohongos. 🤗

This type of parasitic plant that lives in the trunks of trees known worldwide as “Tillandsia Recurvata” or in my country (Curugey) a jewel of the national flora, because it does not need soil for its growth, live and thrive.

The species is native to Tropical America, of the genus Bromelia. Each plant is unique and carries with it the essence of its place of origin, it is a focus in the natural environment, wherever you walked it was present in the Pino 🌲🚶 trees.

I was about to take some to take to my garden, as I saw them with their roots and the treatment is not very difficult to keep at home, for the next one it goes with my adventure 😁👌.

Este tipo de planta parasitó que vive en los troncos de los árboles conocida mundialmente como "Tillandsia Recurvata" o en mi país (Curugey) una joya de la flora nacional, pues no necesita tierra para su crecimiento, vivir y prosperar.

La especie es nativa de América Tropical, del género Bromelia. Cada planta es única y lleva consigo la esencia de su lugar de origen, es un foco en el ámbito natural, donde quiera que caminabas estaba presente en las árboles de Pino 🌲🚶 .

Estuve a punto de coger alguna para llevar a mi jardín, pues las vi con sus raíces y el tratamiento no es muy difícil para conservar en el hogar, para la próxima se va con mi aventura 😁👌.

Curujey has a long history in Cuban traditional medicine. It is used to reduce blood sugar levels and as an antiparasitic. It is also used in topical applications to treat hemorrhoids and other inflammatory conditions.

El curujey tiene una larga historia en la medicina tradicional cubana. Se utiliza para reducir los niveles de azúcar en sangre y como antiparasitario. También se emplea en aplicaciones tópicas para tratar hemorroides y otras afecciones inflamatorias.

To continue with the search for mushrooms, I will tell you that I spent almost 2 hours looking for wild species and I was lucky enough to find this little guy called “Panaeolus Antillarum” or stinky umbrella.

It grows mostly on animal dung, generally that of cows and horses. They can be up to 20 cm long and their coloration varies between white and grayish.

Para seguir con la búsqueda de hongos pues les diré que estuve casi 2 horas buscando especies silvestres y bueno tuve la suerte de encontrar a este chiquitín llamado "Panaeolus Antillarum" o sombrillita apestosa.

Este crece mayormente sobre el estiércol de animales, generalmente el de las vacas y caballos. Pueden medir hasta 20 cm de largo y su coloración varía entre el blanco y grisáceo.

The gray mushroom has a fungal smell and taste. It is edible, but not often consumed, due to its strong odor and habitat in which it is found.

These last photographic shots I loved the truth, it is appreciated to see them up close and coexist with them in the environment. 🤩

El Seta gris presenta un olor y sabor fúngico. Es comestible, pero no se consume con frecuencia, debido a su fuerte olor y hábitat en el que se encuentra.

Estas últimas tomas fotográficas me encantaron la verdad, se aprecia verlos de cerca y convivir con ellos en el medio ambiente. 🤩
