Thursday's Fun Run

We were out downtown most of yesterday for some errands and whilst I was supposed to stay home for things undone, the husband dragged me out of the house by teasing me that it's going to be fun, lol! But I liked to go anyway so we drove off and onto our little adventure. The morning was started with a bit of gloom but we were glad that the skies cleared out afterwards.

After dropping by the farm store and getting things done, we headed on to the next stop which is just about 3 kilometers away from the valley. And me being fond of taking photos along the way, I had these succeeding shots.

The chicken dung business is doing well, I believe. This truck seems to have sold most of its load because the cropping season in town has began.

Coloring or painting the walls along the road is becoming a thing in town too. People are even creative and resourceful that they upcycled things and made them as useful stuff. The huge planter beside the road's sign pole is a washing machine which may have been broken and instead of dumping it elsewhere, they painted it and made it serve as a planter. How ingenius, yeah? There were actually two of them there but the car was running fast I was only able to capture this one.

There's an old TV set too which was painted on as a decorative piece. Tires were utilized as planters as well which is a common scene almost everywhere.

Some more stones have gotten paints on in this side of town. They do add colors to the roadsides which make them look fun. We heard most of the paints used along those roads were donated which is quite nice.

The sky turned darker in the afternoon which was kind of a warning that the rain is coming. When everything on our list was done, we went to one of the local restaurants for late lunch. These two below were photographed by the husband out the parking spaces.

We drove home, stopping by our favorite fruit shop first for some bananas. We arrived here just before 4 pm and the husband left again to his father's place while I stayed and had some chitchats over hot choco with our friendly neighbor who came by. I did some cleaning in the kitchen and washroom, sorted the laundry, showered afterwards and did some Hiving. Was feeling exhausted and went to bed earlier than usual.

Today, I've just been indoors, completing some tasks on the adoption campaign and did some sketching too. It's been quite a day and I may head to bed sooner.

Photos are my own, some courtesy of the husband. 26th May 2023/09:25ph
