Scientific study; Foods that help you recover after training




Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids are two types of polyunsaturated fats that are essential for the proper functioning of our body. And our body does not have the enzymes to be able to produce them on its own, so we must resort to diet, to what we eat.


And if we don't do it we develop deficiency and get sick. This is why it is called "essential" fatty acids. However, these fatty acids are different from most other fats in that they are not used for energy or storage.


They are biologically active and have very important functions in processes such as blood coagulation or the regulation of inflammation. But be careful because one key thing we have to understand is that Omega 3 and Omega 6 do not have the same effects on our body.


In general, it is believed that Omega 6 are inflammatory and in general, in our usual diet, for most people, there is a lot of Omega 6 in excess, so we must balance the consumption of these Omega, more of omega 3 than of omega 6.
