Tevez's Stances On Christiano Ronaldo And Lionel Messi; Do We Say Achievement Is Less Lauded Because It Didn't Come Naturally?

Last week former Manchester United and Manchester City Star Carlos Tevez dropped his stances on Who the world best footballer is and to me I think it's a little to narrow minded from my point of view and why is this? Tevez said that he feels football comes naturally to Lionel Messi like it was an inbuilt trait but Christiano Ronaldo has to depend on developing himself by constantly training tirelessly which made him the amazing player he became however because Messi doesn't really need to train, it gives him a slight edge over Ronaldo. He discussed about his time with the current Juventus man at United and how Ronaldo was always on the training pitch earlier than anyone and after observing his observation myself, I think that he's a little bit narrow minded about talent and sheer hardwork.

The truth is that we can't say because talents is in competition with hardwork it makes the essence of hardwork any less viable. In my opinion Messi has always been a great footballer and saying that he's better than Ronaldo because he doesn't need to train isn't plausible. Ronaldo playing at sporting Lisbon was a prodigy and I didn't see a player who depended on hardwork. I didn't have the opportunity of seeing Messi's early playing days and this was because he never had to go anywhere, he slotted in from the Barcelona system and this was easier than having to play from the bottom to the top which Christiano Ronaldo did. In my opinion when one rises up the ranks to trauncate having to depend on their talent then it's much even an accomplishing to me.

This post isn't really about an argument on who is better, believe me the Argentine and the Portuguese are the two most decorated player for the past 12 years and they've cut their teeth and done their bit and that's why I think they shouldn't be compared, I always desist from making their comparison and I think people who are doing this doesn't understand that sometimes a player's capabilities depends on the kind of growth they experienced as players by all means. In Messi's and Ronaldo's they've had different background playing football and Messi is more skillful and talented I won't say no to that do you know that he'll be miles ahead of Ronaldo if he's as hardworking as well? Anyone who says you don't need to be hard-working because you're talented should know that you'll be at par with people who are constantly working hard and we can't make an exception for your talent anymore because what effort have you made In adding hard-working to your talent?

In truth I think we shouldn't appreciate talent more because talent is given but hard-working is self inflicted. Messi is a great footballer no doubt but I prefer Ronald as a more favorite player not because he's better than Messi or because Messi is better than him, personally Ronaldo has conquered the world and even ruled Portugal as well, can we say the same for Messi? As a talented player how far did this talent take him with the Argentine national team? Let's be logical I see Messi as a great but lazy player. Being stuck to Barcelona made him rest on his oars and while he was busy being in the first place in Barcelona, Ronaldo has swam many waters and came out victorious and the only different water Messi swam was Argentina and be failed woefully and why is this? He Felt his talent will justify the fact that he isn't really a hard-working player. This isn't comparison, I didn't hope to do so however talent don't beat hardwork for me and I essentially disagree with Carlos Tevez over his stances. Ronaldo has the right to be called the better player as much as Messi but stating Messi's talent shouldn't be in contention.
