Lakers won the in-tournament cup

With a great undefeated run on the tournament, Los Angeles Lakers went on a huge run and made the playoff to eventually win the cup against the Indiana Pacers.

The tournament offered a new fresh look into the long season and the opporunities that an in-game tournament could provide. This tournament added the excitement and value that could make seasoned players like King James, find motivation to play at 100% at the start of the season. While still a long way to the NBA finals, we can now have something to fight for.

The in-game tournament offered a 500K reward for each player and that was also addeed motivation on the side of the rest of the team.

We often think an NBA players are all millionaires but in reality this reward will make a difference specially to many players that are at the minimum or a small contracts.

The games itself was pretty exciting with lots of hightlights, from King James having a great game against the Suns, to an all overal team performance against the Pacers on the semifinals which dominate completely the Pelicans by +40 point advantage.

Finally the finals held a somewhat well fought game where Lakers looked dominant on the court, but not so much on the score, primarily because of the lack of accuracy on the 3pt line.

The game for the most part had all from alley-oops to breakaways to circus shots and the game was a very well played game. There were some controvertial calls including tip tap fouls and 50/50 balls that were overiden by the opposite.

Anthony Davis put up amazing +40 pts and +20 rebounds and kept active all game through. Except for a knock on the growing, he showed healthy and dominant.
