The whole Ancelotti saga makes it clear once again how important it is to choose the right moment when you want a coach of that caliber and Real Madrid wasn't going to let him go so easily with the Club World Cup so close so it was always going to be a mess for Brazil to organize everything for the qualifying phase and all that, the way the federation sat around waiting instead of looking for another coach sooner left the team in a very bad position and now they have to rush to find someone before the important games, other names like Jorge Jesus or Abel Ferreira could work but they really need to sort it out as quickly as possible so the players can move on and focus. Ancelotti is a great coach but sometimes if it's not working you have to move on and look for stability especially after the defeat against Argentina and all the noise surrounding the team.
I think these two names are the only ones on the table of the CBF president. I have no doubt that neither of them will accept, but I believe they will do crazy things to get them to sign the contract. All that's left now is to wait.
