Uno de los casos de esos peloteros que considero merece estar allí, es el venezolano Bob Abreu, un jugador con excelente ofensiva, defensa en el promedio, buen brazo, velocidad en las bases y con una disciplina envidiable a la hora de enfrentar sus turnos, estos son los números de por vida del come dulce, como es conocido este jugador, 8480 turnos al bate, unas mil apariciones más que Rolen, 1453 las anotadas, supera por 200 al recién inmortalizado, 2470 hits, 288 jonrones, aquí si está por debajo de su excompañero de equipo, ya que Abreu tuvo la mayor parte de su carrera con los Phillies, 1363 las empujadas, 400 bases robadas, 291 de average, OBP de 395 y por último un OPS de 870, como podrán observar, solo en los cuadrangulares el venezolano no está por encima de Rolen, por eso me parece que lo más justo sería que Abreu ingrese antes de cumplir sus diez años en la boleta de votación y ser el segundo inmortalizado con la nacionalidad venezolana.
