Gameweek 2 started with a fairly uninspiring kickoff.

This game week is already starting with Stevie Gerrard doing the most Gerard thing ever by benching Leon Bailey.

As you would expect, FPL fans on Twitter are going nuts because of this.

It seems many people didn't expect that move in the second game week and I genuinely understand how they feel. The lad did so well throughout Aston Villa's preseason. He was also impactful in their first game week of the season but here we are.

This shows that aside from good knowledge of the game and a consistent hunt for the latest updates from each team in EPL, people like us who play FPL also need a bit of luck each game week because anything can happen.

It gets worse when someone you have in your team gets benched by 'the real gaffer'. Haha. Imagine that.

It's game week 2. I believe y'all are looking forward to the games.

This game week is starting with an uninspiring early kick-off between Aston Villa and Everton. I call it uninspiring because... I don't think it will be an entertaining fixture, especially at this early stage of the season.

I'd have a horse in the race. Haha. I have more than one horse in it.

Everton is our Merseyside rival and any opportunity to see the tears of Everton fans will always be a good start to a game week. It gets even better since they are up against Stevie G, a Liverpool legend. I'm rooting for him and his boys to get a good one against Everton.

The side of this fixture that will keep me on my toes is the fact that I have Coutinho in my FPL team. He didn't bring good points last week so this is his chance to get a banger and redeem himself. Haha. I wish!

Nonetheless, it's still a game that I will follow its live updates via Twitter, discord, LiveScore and other channels. The 3 pm games look more exciting and I may just go for those.

My football watchlist for today;

  • Arsenal vs Leicester City - 3 pm

  • Manchester City vs Bournemouth - 3 pm

It's too early to wish for a loss from Man City, but I will gladly welcome that. Haha... Not gonna happen.

This game will end with a win for Man City and (hopefully) Arsenal.

I know that Arsenal are already redefining the way they are seen and gradually changing the trajectory of how they have been performing in recent years. They seem to be very ambitious this season and they are getting it right.

But I'm not used to seeing this top-notch Arsenal team. Haha. I hope they keep up the momentum.

Let's all have a blast this footballing weekend. Have fun with whatever game you will be watching. We are spoilt for choice in this gameweek.

Edit: Aston Villa are already a goal up. And freaky Coutinho got booked. Haha. Quite uninspiring!

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma

Bailey left out because 4-4-2 doesn’t suit Coutinho. Given Coutinho’s performance and the impact that Buendia when he came onmade I’d be surprised if the Brazilian plays next week

Coutinho have not really given them a dazzling performance this season. He is having a very slow start. His performance today was awful.

It's best to leave him out of the team for a while.

Currently watching Arsenal's and Man City's game. The intensity is high as expected.

Haha... You hear about Messi alot even when you are not a football fan. It's also the same for Cristiano Ronaldo. Those guys are iconic in the game. Haha.

Today's games have been a joy to watch. Very thrilling. Haha
