Shopping time, got to have these out of season apples. $5.00NZ for 6 apples, not cheap.

The was an early evening ride, quite a few other cyclists out there on the asphalt, good to see. Popped into the Memorial Gardens then took a short cut though the stream onto the Reservoir Road, this was new for me. Think I'll do this more often, even if it includes a 10min bush walk to link up to the other road.

Hello, here apples cost the same: 0.50 USD. It’s been a long time since I last had one. I recently saw a post about a delicious dessert made with apples, and now seeing the ones you’ve bought is making me want to go and get some. A lovely outing… ten minutes’ walk is quite a stretch of woodland to cross, 😅. I can see from the sign that there’s a place to swim there!
