Time to tackle Spring Cleaning...

gotta say... I am getting the hang of a assisting me to generate narrative art for me...
(I digress!)
Back to the main issue of the day - HOARDING
I think this can be a dilemma of every female...
Remember when you always looked for something new, of a dress or a top during special occasions / events only to know you barely touch it anymore?
Actually, the whole year God has been bugging me to "clean out" what is not needed, but I just kept procrastinating...
But with very challenging situation up at hand, I think I will need to make use of these unused good condition hoards and turn it into emergency cash for next month's utility bills.
Like this well-preserved top that probably only worn once in my life is not going to do anything good if it stayed in a vacuum pack.
So I am most likely going to conduct a virtual garage sale using my lost and found (master key) account, @craftsofluv at Shopee Malaysia and see who's looking for thrift products, maybe starting around a quarter (around MYR 1) to a little over $1 USD.
Unfortunately I have to only reserve for#teammalaysia due to the fact I am using Shopee shipping facility.
The national postal service is WAY too (cut throat) expensive to even send out 😔
Mom's previous month's chronic cough has allowed me to hoard these tiny metal containers, but because I have been all over the place, these are just set aside.
Time to not hoard anymore. These items need to go.
This is one way to both clean up unused items to bless someone else who might need it.
There's still a lot of items that I will try to work on and populate my store before launching in 2024. I just need to keep reminding myself

Nice art, i think hoarding is easily done and is actually a very passive act.
Also for some hoarding is almost second nature which can have serious issues, however it can be found in all genders equally i believe. 🤣😉
It is good for us to have a clear out especially for our minds.
If we have stuff not being used it makes sense to allow someone to purchase it that will use it.
If we can't sell it giving things away is just as good

Hahaha... I am not trying to be gender bias, but my side of the world majority are grandmas, moms and sisters like me who are "trapped" in this 2nd to nature "challenge" 😂
Clearing out things we do not need cleans our mind and our soul too
🤣 I have had to help many hoarders over the years clear out it is the hard part letting go but there is great relief if people do.

I wouldn't call myself a hoarder, but I do have a tricky time getting rid of things I don't need - about 1/3rd of the contents of my office could be sold off and my life would be no worse, I wouldn't miss any of it. But my brain says keep it, it's valuable. But what value is something not being used? Selling it for money, at least the money can be used for something!

There are indeed a lot of things that my brain kept saying "you may need it later" but it sat there for years and "later" hasn't arrived. 😂

it's emotional for me to let things go (esp. those I've owned a long time). so I set a good time to do decluttering. I started small then I guess you could say gradually grew over time. It helped that I read Marie Kondo's book too. Wishing you much success! 💞

Every gender has that tendency....to keep things not actually in present use. But to sell off and/or give out as the case may be is always a better option to free up spaces and make rooms for better ones.
