My Actifit Report Card: April 18 2026
The weekend is here, and my commitment to the Hive ecosystem and my personal fitness has never been stronger. Today, I successfully reached 11,477 steps, which pushed my User Rank back up to 27.86 with a near-perfect consistency of 99.37%. My AFIT balance is also steadily growing, now sitting at 10,549.724 tokens. However, the most valuable gain today wasn't just in steps or tokens it was in blockchain knowledge.
In my previous post, I was excited to announce that I was moving my Hive Power to support the Great Little Dragon (GLD) pathway through @helios.voter. I made what I thought were two separate delegations (50 HP and then 48 HP), thinking they would stack up to 98 HP. But Hive had a lesson waiting for me: Delegations do not stack; they update!
When I sent that second transaction of 48.297 HP, I wasn't adding to my 50 HP I was actually telling the blockchain to update my total delegation to that lower number. As a result, the difference was sent into a 5-day undelegation cooldown. As my mentor @terganftp pointed out this is a rite of passage for almost everyone on Hive. I now understand that to "add" to a delegation, you must always input the final total sum, not just the additional amount. It’s like a volume knobyou don't press +10 you just turn it to the new level.
I want to express my deep gratitude to @hiveabbyftp for the 20.001 HP delegation. This support is my safety net, providing the Resource Credits I need to stay active while I wait for my own HP to return on April 21st. Once it returns, I will perform a clean, single update to bring my total delegation to 100 HP for Helios, ensuring a 15% return.
Despite this little technical detour, I am thrilled to see my BBH balance growing and to be part of such a supportive community. Learning how the gears of the blockchain work makes this journey to Rank 30 feel much more real. I’m not just a walker anymore; I’m a student of the craft.

First: Congratulations on the 11,000 steps. Keep on walking and keep staying fit.
Second: I love the fact that you are getting the word count up. It makes me feel better when I call in the HELIOS curator. However, if possible send a picture or two. Most Actifitters get in the habit of taking a picture of where they are walking. It makes it way nicer to see what is happening in different parts of the world. After all how often do you get to get a glimpse into Vancouver, BC (my area), Surabaya Indonesia, Unity Saskatchewan, or Tuguegarao Philippines (all the places I've been recently). And of course in about 3 weeks time... London Healthrow... hahaha probably not exotic for you :)
Third: A little heads up on the Great Little Dragons.

Final thought... Watch out for an upcoming post when I make a case for holding GLD and delegating to @hiveabbyftp instead of @helios.voter ...Helios is very good, but I want to be better...if I can 😀
