Been jogging since Friday. Jog distance today :7km and close to an hour. I've been consistently jogging weekly since 2011. That was ten years ago. Then I bought better running sneakers and jogging wear.
When I started jogging, I wore cotton shirts. It got too wet too fast. Nowadays, I only use dry fits for jogging. Dries faster and is lighter. Sometimes I wear compression clothing to increase blood circulation.
86km total. This year I've jogged a total of more than 500km. Few months of lock down. Non activity months. Gonna jog till one day I am perhaps 70. Exercising helps reduce any anxiety and helps in sleep quality. It increases the threshold for pain acceptance. From Monday to Thursday's, strength training days. Keeping up with my health has become a lifestyle just like eating, sleeping.
