Abs, the new challenge. My actifit report card 04/17/2025

Today when I woke up, and while still in bed, I decided to add a new challenge: doing crunches. So while I was reviewing the messages that came in after I went to sleep yesterday, I started doing them but in reverse, that is, lifting my legs instead of my torso.

I got to do only 3 rounds of 10 each, which I consider a good start.

In the afternoon a very strong storm started, falling even some hail stones, which made me hesitate to go to the second shift of my work, but luckily it stopped raining and I took the opportunity to go out, with the luck that the rain came back after arriving, so I didn't get very wet, as I don't have an umbrella.

Back at work there was very little movement, as the influx of customers was low, so when I returned home, I used my headphones to listen to salsa and dance to the rhythm while I washed the dishes and made dinner for my children, as I had already entered into fasting until tomorrow.

With half an hour of dancing I completed the 10K of the day, and the truth is that I am liking this practice of dancing when I get home, because although I come home exhausted, it seems to give me a recharge of energy to share with my children a while before we go to bed and go to sleep.

Hoy al despertar, y mientras seguía en la cama, decidí agregar un nuevo reto: hacer abdominales. Así que mientras revisaba los mensajes que llegaron luego de irme a dormir ayer, empecé a hacerlos pero de manera inversa, es decir, levantando mis piernas en lugar del torso.

Llegué a hacer solo 3 rondas de 10 cada una, lo que considero un buen comienzo.

En la tarde comenzó una tormenta muy fuerte, cayendo inclusive algunas piedras de granizo, lo cual me hizo dudar en ir al segundo turno de mi trabajo, pero por suerte paró de llover y aproveché para salir, con la suerte de que la lluvia volviera luego de llegar, así que no me mojé mucho, pues no tengo paraguas.

Ya en el trabajo fue muy poco el movimiento, pues la afluencia de clientes fue poca, así que al volver a casa, usé mis auriculares para escuchar salsa y bailar al ritmo mientras lavaba los platos y hacía la cena para mis hijos, pues yo ya había entrado en ayuno hasta mañana.

Con media hora de baile completé los 10K del día, y la verdad es que me está gustando esta práctica de bailar al llegar a casa, pues aunque vengo agotada, pareciera darme una recarga de energía para compartir con mis hijos un rato antes de irnos a dormir.
