48 hours in the rain. My actifit report 05/17/2025

Buenos Aires is still under orange alert due to a strong storm that has been raging for 48 hours. Many neighborhoods and avenues are under water.

Luckily where I live the avenue is an inconvenience that does not affect me as I live and work on the opposite side of the avenue.

However, even though I work nearby, I have been forced to take a bus to avoid getting so wet on my way home.

The good thing is that when I get back, I take off all my wet clothes and after changing I have a hot drink to prevent the cold from getting to my bones.

Buenos Aires sigue en alerta naranja por una fuerte tormenta que ya lleva 48 horas continuas.

Muchos barrios y avenidas se encuentran bajo las aguas. Por suerte donde yo vivo la avenida es un inconveniente que no me afecta pues vivo y trabajo del lado opuesto a ella.

Sin embargo, aunque trabajo cerca, me he visto forzada a tomar colectivo para no mojarme tanto en el trayecto de ida desde casa.

Lo bueno es que al regresar, me saco toda la ropa húmeda y luego de cambiarme me tomo una bebida caliente para evitar que el frío me cale hasta los huesos.
