I am going through a crisis that is not mine, but I see myself a little reflected in it, and it is the issue of the passing of the years. It all started with a photo I found from when I finished high school, and when I show it, many people tell me that I was prettier back then.

Obviously the youth I had in that photo gives it an advantage, although now it's not that I look old and ugly, but you can see that many moons have passed.

But looking at that photo, I consider that although I have more freckles, more dark circles under my eyes and more years, I look much better now than I did then, when insecurities made me doubt or the impetus to act led me straight to the void.

From there to here, I have managed to understand many things and heal a few. My vision has diminished, but my astuteness has increased, so I think I'm on an even keel.

The same happens with this cell phone, which although it is made of cardboard, it reminds us of how all this digital commotion started, and for sure now they are more versatile and improved than those, but if it had not existed, perhaps the process to get to the present would have been slower.

Estoy pasando por una crisis que no es mía, pero me veo un poco reflejada en ella, y es el tema del paso de los años. Todo empezó por una foto que encontré de cuando terminé el secundario, y que al mostrarla, muchos me dicen que en aquel entonces era más linda.

Obviamente la juventud que tenía en aquella foto le da ventaja, aunque ahora no es que me vea vieja y fea, pero si se nota que han pasado bastantes lunas.

Pero viendo yo esa foto, me considero que aunque tengo más pecas, más ojeras y más años, en la actualidad me veo mucho mejor que entonces, cuando las inseguridades me hicieron dudar o el ímpetu de actuar me llevaron directo al vacío.

Desde allá hasta acá, he logrado entender muchas cosas y sanar unas cuantas. Mi visión se ha disminuido, pero la astucia ha aumentado, así que creo que voy en equilibrio.

Lo mismo pasa con este celular, que aunque es de cartón, nos recuerda cómo empezó todo este revuelo digital, y de seguro ahora son más versátiles y mejorados que aquellos, pero de no haber existido ese, quizás el proceso para llegar al ahora habría sido más lento.
