My Actifit Report Card: September 14 2025
I don't want to be a fat old woman
Since I started these reports, it's been because my daily activities keep me very active, but not because I formally exercise.
However, I haven't been able to balance my diet, and this obviously affects my need to lose weight.
It was when I saw myself in a video that I realized how big I am, since in the mirror I only see myself as somewhat robust, so seeing that recording was a kick in the gut that made me reconsider many things.
First, I need to respect my sleep schedule, since I was only sleeping 5 hours and was always exhausted. Now I've started getting 7 hours.
I'm cutting out all kinds of snacks between meals, because even if it's just a cookie, it adds up on the scale.
Finally, I'm taking intermittent fasting seriously, because otherwise it has no effect.
I looked for a couple of Tabata routines to start training at home as soon as I get up, so that there are no excuses about not having time later in the day. We'll see in a couple of weeks how I'm doing with all these changes.
No quiero ser una vieja gorda
Desde que empecé estos reportes ha sido porque mi actividad diaria me lleva a moverme mucho, pero no porque haga ejercicios de manera formal.
Pero el tema con la alimentación es algo que no he logrado equilibrar y obviamente afecta en mi necesidad de perder peso.
Fue viéndome en un video que caí en cuenta de las dimensiones que tengo, ya que al espejo solo me veo algo robusta, así que ver esa grabación fue una patada al hígado que me hizo reconsiderar muchas cosas.
Primeramente, respetar las horas de sueño, ya que estaba durmiendo solo 5 horas y siempre estaba agotada, ahora empecé por llegar a las 7 horas.
Eliminar todo tipo de snacks entre comidas, pues aunque sea solo una galleta, va sumando puntos en la báscula.
Finalmente, tomarme en serio el ayuno intermitente, pues de lo contrario no tiene ningún efecto.
Busqué un par de rutinas tabata para empezar a entrenar en casa, apenas me levante, para que no haya excusas de tiempo en el resto del día. Veremos en un par de semanas que tal voy con todos estos cambios.
