My Actifit Report Card: February 4 2023

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday after getting up very late as usual on weekends, the first order of business was of course to take advantage of the great weather, cold and sunny.

We started our long walk of the day with Kaia. As most days, our first destination was in the forest, where it's still covered with snow almost everywhere.

Kaia spent her time either waiting for me, or chasing me.

I managed to get her to stop for a minute for a photoshoot, but that didn't last long.

Since we had plenty of time, we covered almost all trails in the forest.

We walked long enough that we were approaching sunset time. So we left the woods to catch it.

I noticed we had some spectators on the way. Luckily Kaia was on leash and too tired to try and go after them.

At that point, clouds seem they were going to ruin the sunset for us.

But as we kept going, even with the clouds, colors became more vibrant and beautiful.

Of course, we went all the way to the golf course, one of my favorite sunset viewpoints. The cloud cover was still thick but it was getting better.

On the last part of the way back home, I could see the sky was actually clearing up some more, and I almost thought about turning back for another view of the sunset. But I figured by the time we'd reach a good place, it would be too late anyways. So we made our way back home after a great walk.

Rest of the day was pretty uneventful and not very active.
