My Actifit Report Card: September 9 2023

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday was kind of a slow day. I really needed to rest and I had a long sleep for once, about 11 hours, that's almost like 3 times my usual nights! That also means the day started even later than most Saturdays. And not too intense either, just some chill time on the deck first. Le Chat went back to her usual outdoor habits.

But she didn't lose the grumpy face!

In the absence of walks, it's important to keep Kaia mentally stimulated. So we tried a little bit of training, with some down/stays and simple obedience.

If it was a cartoon, I think smoke would come out of her ears...

But just across the street, a visitor showed up.

Obviously, all obedience training went out the window...

On the other hand, Le Chat once again couldn't care less.

Kaia quickly calmed down, which is good, because chasing deer is really not recommended for her injury.

I then went for a quick walk. I was kind of hoping there'd be a sunset, but it was way too cloudy unfortunately.

I still like these views at the golf course.

With days getting shorter, nightfalls also seem faster. Even with that short walk, I finished it in darkness.

And that was it for the days activities. Like I said, a rather relaxed day, I guess it's good from time to time.
