Bye Bye snow, for now - Night Run

I just finished a 8.087km running that lasted about 0hh:37mm:56ss !

Late report, but I didn't get a chance to post yesterday's run before now. I used a picture from a few days ago as the cover, because most of the snow is completely gone unfortunately. But it was actually like the picture below shows. Yesterday was unseasonably warm at about 12 degrees Celsius. And it rained pretty much all day. So, it was very wet! I stepped in a few puddles that were much deeper than I thought. And of course, the last few icy patches, sometimes under all that water, were there to keep things even more interesting... Anyways, I started late as too often, and I really didn't feel like running! But in the end, it was a decent run, and I'm glad I found the will power to get out the door.

I found a route that avoided the most flooded stretches, except the surprises mentioned above. And with almost no overlap at all, it was about 5 miles. I struggled with strong headwind in the majority of the run, and that sucks. But that's no excuse for the slowish pace, I just didn't have the energy to go faster.

It's now very doubtful I'll be able to reach 100km in February, unless I can pull off a couple of longer last-minute runs, like I did last month. But honestly, it's not very likely and we'll see how the week goes.
Till then, keep Exhausting!
