Opinión del sorteo Copa América 2024 // Opinion of the draw for the America's Cup 2024
Ya se sortearon los grupos para la Copa América 2024 que se disputará en territorio estadounidense y que una vez más nos trae un formato con 16 equipos ya que se incluyeron 6 países de la CONCACAF. En lo particular creo que es un formato mucho más atractivo que el que habitualmente se juega el cual consta de 2 grupo de 5 países y en el que clasifican 4 de 5, mientras que el formato con 16 equipos solo clasifican a 2 por grupo, cosa que evidentemente aumenta la competitividad.
Adicional al sorteo, la organización presentó también a la mascota, un Águila muy bien animada, pero que a mi en lo particular no me produce buenas sensaciones, siento que el estilo caricaturesco de ediciones anteriores nos da un estilo más clásico y familiar.

I think that in group B it will be led by Mexico, in group C I also think that Urugual will lead, especially with the arrival of the new coach, and as you will remember in the World Cup qualifiers they played a great game and were able to beat Argentina. In group D I would lean more towards Colombia given that Brazil is not playing well, I even think they still have an interim coach.

I am not sure that Mexico can be top of group B, I think Ecuador and Venezuela will put up quite a fight, but since the group is so evenly matched, anything can happen.
And yes, I think Colombia could be top of group D, certainly Brazil is at a low level.

Se habla de que será Ancelotti, pero no creo que Brasil vaya a esperar tanto tiempo por un técnico y más aun con su situación actual. Respecto a Argentina, es cierto que se vienen algunos cambios, pero tienen muchos jugadores de calidad así que no creo que se vean muy afectados.

Creo que a la Vinotinto le tocó un grupo para soñar avanzar, no es fácil pero creo que si se puede. Estoy de acuerdo contigo, el grupo de Venezuela es el más parejo y cualquier cosa se puede dar entre México, Ecuador y nuestra selección. Jamaica puede dar la sorpresa, todo puede pasar.

Los tres partidos de Venezuela serán muy intensos, serán en terreno "neutral" aunque México será prácticamente local, pero contra Ecuador y Jamaica no creo que salgan a especular ninguna de las partes.
Francamente veo chances de clasificar, pero si no somos primeros nos encontraremos a Argentina en cuartos de final y creo que hasta allí llegaríamos😅.
