(6pics) Not really in the mood today. Caught a cold, allergies kicking in, system updating… congrats to me, I guess. So I’ll keep it short.

Ran into Aram in front of her house — she was kinda pacing around, waiting for someone to show up so she could get a friend’s number. Yep, I ended up getting it for her.

I just don’t know why she kept asking me, “What was his name again?!” Thank God she finally remembered — “Ahhh, Masen! Masen…!”

Then I was on my way to Teacher Izadi’s painting exhibition when Mokhmal called — said she’d seen me and wanted to come too, with Mary. Mary had been at a hospital class about sports and childbirth (don’t even ask), but it got canceled, so yeah, we all went to the exhibition together.

Actually, a little worry hit me afterward — what if my cold’s contagious and Mary catches it? Poor thing, she’s about to give birth. Hopefully not! Anyway, we went, and yeah — Teacher Izadi was there herself too.

I think the last time I saw Teacher Izadi was at our concert two years ago, super brief. But today she was full of energy and really talkative. Honestly though, after a while I started getting bored — too much explaining, and the works themselves didn’t feel that deep to me.

I’m personally not big on hyperrealism, though I respect the patience and precision behind it. Like, she’d painted The Rock. Said it took 25 three-hour sessions. Or how drawing John Cena’s pants’ elastic was apparently a nightmare!

But there was one piece I really liked — a portrait of her kids, Raheel and Mikael. That one felt like a real, genuine connection to the artist’s own world.

Her instructor was Ms. Faezeh Amiri — she had this quiet pride about her. And her mother, Ms. Azam Mirzadeh, who runs the art school, was much friendlier. Apparently, she had come to my daddy's calligraphy class long ago. I didn’t quite figure out how far she’d gotten with her studies though…

Every time I asked, she just said, “Yeah!”
I said, “So you went up to ‘Good’?” — “Yeah.”
Then she added, “But I still had my calligraphy course left…”
I said, “Oh, so you went up to ‘Excellent’ then?” — “Yeah!”
Then she said, “If I’d passed that calligraphy course, I’d have my full diploma by now.”
So I said, “Then you went up to ‘Outstanding’?!” — “Yeah.”
No idea what just happened.

Another thing that really stood out was how well-dressed and coordinated they all were — super stylish, all matching, and actively engaging at the exhibition. You don’t see that kind of classy teamwork among artists too often!

I noticed that on this day last year, I’d talked with Dr. Banakar — so I figured I’d repeat the tradition. Gave him a call, and we ended up chatting a lot — mostly about Saadi, and how his words hit you in the face and wake you up. Also taught him how to use Castbox more efficiently.

The funny part? Not a single word about Solmaz coming back. I mean, Ms. Hakimian and Fariba and Solmaz all came up, along with the “50–30–20 rule”… but thankfully, I didn’t get verbally beaten up this time!

(۶ع) حوصله ندارم، سرماخوردم حساسیتی شدم، دارم آپدیت میشم. مبارکم شده! پس کوتاه میگم. آرام رو دیدم جلوی خونه‌ش این پا اون پا می‌کنه که یکی برسه و شماره‌ی یکی از آشناهاش رو بگیره، بله، من گرفتم براش.

فقط نمی‌دونم چرا همه‌ش از من می‌پرسید که "اسم‌ش چی بود؟!" خداروشکر که یادش اومد "هاااا ماسن ماسن...!"

بعدش هم داشتم می‌رفتم نمایشگاه نقاشی تیچر ایزدی که یهو مخمل زنگ زد که منو دیده و گفت که اونم با ماری میاد بریم نمایشگاه. ماری رفته بود بیمارستان کلاس آموزشی ورزشی زاییدن، ولی کنسل شده بود. اینجوری شد که رفتیم نمایشگاه.

البته یه نگرانی که بعدش اومد سراغم این بود که نکنه سرماخوردگی من واگیردار باشه و ماری بگیره، طفلی بچه دم زاییدن. ایشالاح که نمی‌گیره! آره خلاصه رفتیم و دیدیم تیچر ایزدی هم هست خودش.

تیچر رو شاید آخرین بار توی کنسرتمون دیده بودم، دوسال پیش، اونم کوتاه، ولی امروز حسابی پرانرژی بود و خوش سخن. البته من دیگه داشت حوصله‌م سر می‌رفت از اینکه یکی همه‌ش توضیح بده و درکل به نظرم آثار خیلی جای تأمل نداشتن.

شخصاً خیلی با هایپر رئالیستا ارتباط برقرار نمی‌کنم، البته تحسین‌شون می‌کنم به خاطر دقت و صبرشون. مثلاً راک رو کشیده بود. می‌گفت بیست و پنج جلسه سه ساعته زمان برده، یا مثلاً کش شلوار جان سینا خیلی اذیت‌ش کرده!

ولی از یه موضوعی خیلی خوشم اومد. راحیل و میکائل، دختر و پسرش، رو کشیده بود. به نظرم این یه ارتباط مستقیم و واقعی‌تر با جهان پیرامون هنرمند به حساب میاد.

استادش خانم فائزه امیری بود که یه غروری داشت و مادر ایشون که مدیر آموزشگاه بود هم خانم اعظم میرزاده بود که خیلی خوش برخوردتر بود و یه دوره هم پیش بابا میومده گویا. البته من دقیق نفهمیدم تا چه مرحله کار کرده بود...

هرچی می‌گفتم می‌گفت آره! پرسیدم تا خوش رفتید؟ گفت آره بعدش گفت "ولی کتابتم موند..." گفتم پس تا عالی رفتید؟ گفت آره! بعد گفت "همین کتابت رو اگه پاس می‌کردم دیگه مدرک‌م کامل می‌شد..." گفتم پس تا ممتاز رفتید؟! گفت آره. نفهمیدم چی شد.

و چیز دیگه‌ای که نظرتو جلب کرد لباس های شیک و یکدست‌شون با همدیگه بود. و حضور فعال‌شون در محل نمایشگاه. کمتر پیش میاد هنرمندان اینقدر با پرستیژ و همدل باشن!

دیدم پارسال در چنین روزی با دکتر بناکار صحبت کردم، گفتم امروز هم تکرارش کنم. این شد که زنگ زدم و کلی گپ زدیم، بیشتر حول سعدی و مشتی که می‌زنه توی صورت آدم و آدم به خودش میاد. همچنین بهش آموزش دادم که چجوری از کست‌باکس بهینه‌تر استفاده کنه.

نکته‌ی بامزه گفتگو هم این بود که هیچ صحبتی از ماجرای برگشتن سولماز به میون نیومد. در واقع اسم خانم حکیمیان و فریبا و سولماز اومد، قانون پنجاه سی بیست و... ولی مورد ضرب و شتم تلفنی قرار نگرفتم!
