My Actifit Report Card: August 11 2023

My battery drill, that died during the week. This Milwaukee brand is so expensive and well-built that I thought it might be worth trying to repair. They have a 5 year warranty, but it must be longer than that as I can not remember where or when I bought it. My tax returns might help me remember as I would have claimed it as a deduction. I pulled it apart as a long time ago. I used to work in a power tool repair shop, and it used to be as simple as disassembling, getting a replacement part, and putting it back together. Unfortunately everything nowadays looks very electronic and parts are very expensive.

Fitness wise it was just the morning run and a lot of walking at work.

We have Milwaukee here as well though my power tools are all Makita, Bosch and Hilti.

Perhaps you could buy a secondhand one and use your old one for spare parts? Looks like your one is fried!

Yes the trigger broke then there was a puff of smoke. Had a replace it straight away for work but will probably just have to chuck it out.
