The creepy crawler pool clear is a great invention, saves me so much time, and mine has lasted a long time working pretty hard and living in a harsh environment. The sun, salt, and chlorine seem to fad the original colour quickly, but mine is still hanging in there after years of sucking leaves of the bottom of the pool.

There is only one moving part, which is the clear diaphragm in the middle. It pulses and .over the whole unit just with the pool pump sucking water and any rubbish through it. I have only had to replace it once, so far.
I keep my eye on it daily just in case it stops moving. Sometimes, a bigger item can clog it, or if the sand filter gets too dirty, it can reduce flow, which stops the diaphragm pulsing.

It definitely helps me keep on top of the pool maintenance and cleaning with two big mature trees in the neighbours backyard
