IP65, I was tempted to put it inside the garage, but it just gets so hot in there in summer.

Oh indeed! IP65 should be 100s. I'm sure you'll know best for your climate.
And with that heat, they would overheat so that's definitely relevant.
You might still need to have some sort of temperature alarm... But that's later in the year. We are heading for winter so not needed right now. (You and I are in the Southern side of the globe hehe, usually everyone else is talking about going to summer).
