Surprise Struggle - My Actifit Report Card: July 10 2025

I had a busy day on my schedule today across work and life so I had to get up early for a formal workout. I was a bit concerned as I went to bed late given my Pickleball game last night and it is likely what led to an underwhelming performance on my lifts during my strength training. It started well as I did not go too heavy given my concern but after two exercises, I found myself struggling to get my third set of reps to the end. It also led to my heart rate raising which was weird.

I took more time in between sets to adjust but it meant that I could not get a cooldown walk at the end of the workout as I decided to use that time for some recovery at the Spa. I struggled to get to start my day at work but eventually got on with it. My first meal helped me get some energy to continue the day which has me thinking about working out while fasting given my change in diet. I think it all comes down to adapting which takes time so looking forward to progressing from here.
