Making this the Norm - My Actifit Report Card: July 14 2025

Today was a good all around day for my activity as I was up early to attack the day. Despite the challenges around the heat, humidity, and mosquitoes I headed out for a good walk. I prepared well with some bug spray that helped a bit although I still struggled with the humidity. My thinking is that my body will adapt and it might come well to train under these conditions. After the walk and a shower, I was online and ready for work.

Work also started to intensify so the morning was spent checking things off the list ahead of a busy week with many deliverables. As the afternoon passed, I could see I could get to the gym early for some strength training. I also got a good amount of protein ahead of it which I am trying to focus on as a way to structure my diet these days. The weather was awful so I didn’t rush the workout and stayed for some recovery at the Spa. By the time I was home, it was straight to bed for more recovery.
