Adapting to Program - My Actifit Report Card: August 4 2025
The weekend got me some well needed rest for my mind before another busy week at work. It also kicked off the new program which is definitely different than my prior ones as it does split my muscle group exercises while adding good volume to the upper body. It is light on cardio but the timing works to drop some cardio between days. Today was the first day I started with a cardio session with a long run outside in the morning before getting started at work.
I recovered well with good hydration and a good protein packed meal. The work day was not as bad as prioir weeks so had good energy to head to the gym late afternoon for today’s routine which focused on some mobility training which I really need (but did not enjoy). It was quick but it felt like it did its job for me. Since I had some time, I headed to the Spa for recovery which will hopefully get my mind and body ready for the rest of the week while I adapt around fitness and workload.
