Turning the Corner - My Actifit Report Card: September 15 2025
Today I decided to start my week with a long run as it was the best opportunity to fit into my strength training program which was easier today. The temperature was also pretty good as it was not too hot or humid and the gusts of wind protected me from the mosquitoes. Fall is coming soon which will make this even better. After a doubtful start, I started to get into the groove and felt like my running turned a corner. I think it was mostly due to some strategic hydration with electrolytes I did before leaving.
I ended the run with more than enough in the tank to go much farther which I will need to try soon. However, I remain focused on my strength training so do not want to do too much endurance training until I am done. I waited until after I wrapped up my work all day to get to do my strength training routine which was mostly on the may at home focusing on core and stretches. I am relaxing earlier than usual to get some recovery for tomorrow which will be a more heavy day to get through between my workouts and work.
