Not Easy to Go Heavy Late - My Actifit Report Card: October 28 2025
It was a busy day at work again so my plans to get to the gym early was not going to work as my longest routine was due today. To not be sluggish all day, I did go for a walk right before lunch time to get some fresh air and Sun as I needed a break from the crazy morning. The afternoon was just as bad and I felt the stress. I had a good meal in between meetings to get time to digest a good share of carbs and protein before heading to the gym.
I got to the gym and weight straight to the bench to push some weight. After feeling strong for a set or two, I started to feel the fatigue which made me fail to my target reps earlier than expected. I wasn’t surprised given the day I had and getting started later than usual. I grinder through the routine to head straight to the Spa for some recovery as tomorrow will be another challenge but starting earlier.
