Setting a Base Pace - My Actifit Report Card: December 2 2025
It was another early start to the day as my work agenda was jammed pack with meetings. I got to the gym early to get some cardio done which had me go for a jog. I started at a higher pace a went higher fron there as I want to start pushing for a better base pace given my recent 5K runs. I am finding the first mile the toughest. Once I get through that I can accelerate forward until I get into Zone 3.
This will be my focus in the coming months. While I do not intend to stop or lower my weight training, I know there may be some tradeoffs with are more long term thinking for me. I have to get in line with the diet which remains a challenge as my body continues to not enjoy the addition of carbs. I will still have patience to see it through but need to work on things to balance it out.
