Sitting here and watching United struggle again.

You would think that i had learned my lesson.

After watching United struggle for the past two games against poor opposition i somehow find myself in the exact same place again.

I'm sitting here with little to no sleep. 100 better things that i could be doing with my time and yet here we go agian.

United V Southampton.

The same thing with the same outcome more than likely. Untied dominate, score, relax, concede and then struggle.

I don't know why i keep doing this to myself.

The have a world class forward line being held to ransom by a team of journeymen.

So many chances and so little result. It just hurts to watch it over and over agian. Something rings a bell here about insanity.

10 mintutes to go and they are sitll pissing up against the wind.

Why do we do it to ourselves?

What is it about sport that gets under our skin so much.

I have no real connection to United. They are a team from a different country, playing a different sport and yet i suffer with them every single week.

I have followed them my whole life and spend thousands of hours watching them. Listening about them. Argueing about them. Being part of the cult and suffering for it.

That is sports all over.

They are an integral part of my childhood and life over the past 30 years.

Football is not even my first choice of sport to follow. It's second or even third. I will be watching the Irish rugby team in France this evening and the all ireland club finals in between if there is time.

No matter how many times it hurts and even after this match today i will sit back down in an hour to do the exact same thing again.

Hahahah 😅
Well, man, I don't know if I should be laughing. I was a Manchester United fan back in the day, I stopped being a fan because I didn't want to be a fan of any club at all, being a fan made a person's joys and pains too much for reasons that aren't worth it, in my opinion. Also note that I stopped being a fan even when Sir Alex Fergie was still the coach, so it's not a case of leaving when they started performing badly.

After the pandemic, though, I fell in love with guys like Greenwood (God bless his soul the soul of his career), Bruno Fernandes and Pogba, so I started watching Man Utd's matches again more than I watched other guys I loved like De Bruyne. I'm trying to say, it's been so much torture watching United! What a waste of talents! Few guys like Maguire, Rashford, etc are holding them back and every coach keeps letting them do that🤦🏾‍♂️.

I watched today's match too, such a shame.

I ain’t a united fan but I’m sure it must be so tough being a fan right now , drawing matches more than an artist is not what any fan right now will fancy . Luke Shaw of late has been terrible with his positioning as well , too many loopholes.

I really feel for Manchester United supporters at the moment but I guess you have other sports you could follow.

Well, I need to wait patiently before giving a verdict on Man utd because @chelseablues are playing their World club cup finals.

This is what goes with the territory of being a fan. United are terrible and you should lower your expectations as the glory days finished years ago. Nothing is guaranteed in sport and who knows if they will ever reclaim what they once had. The reality is not with the current crop of players as they are not even close.
