One of the things we’ve noticed about Drupalcon are the lack of chairs. It’s probably a means of encouraging people to mix and mingle, make connections, sell stuff and to exchange knowledge. So did quite a lot of steps in one venue.

I watched the section from the livestream about the proposal which helped explain it more and Hivefive is a great idea. Three main sections helping bring some clarity to a complex ecosystem. Developers can be fickle, I know because I am one and we need to be excited about the things we work on. I think this initiative can achieve that if enough impetus is put in behind it.

I think this is brilliant and I’ve pledged my support and cast a vote. I’m a developer and blogger here on the chain, so there are probably a whole host of things I could do. All depending on time constraints etc.
