Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un pedacito de mi camino en esta travesía del entrenamiento, donde hoy logré superar los 5000 pasos registrados en la plataforma de Actifit. Más allá del número, para mí significa constancia, esfuerzo y una meta cumplida dentro de mi rutina diaria.

Mi enfoque de hoy fue continuar mi preparación para la gran competencia nacional organizada por la comunidad de SWC, específicamente la competencia SWDB (Street Workout Dual Battles), que exige no solo técnica, sino también mucha resistencia y control corporal. Esta etapa del proceso ha sido especialmente exigente, pero también muy gratificante.

Durante el entrenamiento me enfoqué en combos isométricos, entre ellos la straddle planche y el front lever, que son elementos bastante avanzados y demandantes. La verdad, últimamente me he sentido algo más pesado de lo habitual, quizás por la carga acumulada o simplemente porque algunos días el cuerpo no responde igual. Aun así, traté de mantener la concentración y seguir adelante, porque sé que cada repetición, por mínima que parezca, suma en el progreso general.

No fue fácil, especialmente mantener la forma correcta en posiciones que requieren tanto del core como de los hombros. Pero al final, me sorprendí al ver que, a pesar de las sensaciones, logré sostener mejor el front lever que en días anteriores. Esos pequeños avances, aunque no siempre se noten de inmediato, son los que te dan ese empujón de motivación para seguir entrenando con más ganas.

También incluí una rutina de básicos articulares, que suelo hacer antes y después del trabajo principal. Me concentro en los hombros, muñecas, caderas y escápulas. A veces, con la emoción de querer avanzar rápido, uno olvida que, sin una buena preparación física, el riesgo de lesión es alto. Aprendí a veces por las malas que reforzar estas zonas no solo mejora el rendimiento, sino que me permite entrenar con continuidad sin dolor ni molestias al día siguiente.

Así que hoy me voy a descansar con la satisfacción de haber entrenado con intención y de seguir sumando pasos, no solo en Actifit, sino hacia ese objetivo mayor que me motiva cada día. Mañana será otro día para darlo todo de nuevo.
Today I want to share with you a little bit of my journey through training, where today I managed to surpass 5,000 steps recorded on the Actifit platform. Beyond the number, for me it means consistency, effort, and a goal accomplished within my daily routine.

My focus today was to continue my preparation for the big national competition organized by the SWC community, specifically the SWDB (Street Workout Dual Battles) competition, which requires not only technique, but also a lot of endurance and body control. This stage of the process has been especially demanding, but also very rewarding.

During training, I focused on isometric combos, including the straddle planche and the front lever, which are quite advanced and demanding elements. The truth is, lately I have felt a little heavier than usual, perhaps due to the accumulated load or simply because some days the body does not respond the same. Even so, I tried to stay focused and keep going, because I know that every repetition, no matter how small it may seem, adds to my overall progress.

It wasn't easy, especially maintaining correct form in positions that require both the core and the shoulders. But in the end, I was surprised to see that, despite the sensations, I managed to hold the front lever better than in previous days. These small improvements, although not always noticeable immediately, are what give you that motivational push to keep training with more enthusiasm.

I also included a routine of basic joint exercises, which I usually do before and after the main workout. I focus on the shoulders, wrists, hips, and scapulae. Sometimes, in the excitement of wanting to progress quickly, one forgets that, without good physical preparation, the risk of injury is high. I've learned the hard way, sometimes, that strengthening these areas not only improves performance, but also allows me to train continuously without pain or discomfort the next day.

So today I'm going to rest with the satisfaction of having trained with intention and of continuing to add steps, not only in Actifit, but also towards that greater goal that motivates me every day. Tomorrow will be another day to give it my all again.
