A managerial change at Tottenham

Nuno espirinto Santos was appointed Tottenham manager and has been officially sacked by the Tottenham board.

Tottenham's director of football Fabio paratici released a statement that a search for a new manager is underway, regretting the decision to sack nuno Santos espirinto but it was a necessary decision.



Nuno espirinto Santos joined Tottenham Hotspur to take over from Ryan Mason who was caretaker manager of Tottenham as Jose Mourinho was sacked earlier.

Nuno espirinto Santos had made a name for himself and grew into one of the best premier league managers, His work with Wolverhampton wanderers was excellent, He managed to keep them in the premier league after promotion and dominated the league.

Tottenham were rocked last summer as Star striker and Three lions captain Harry kane was tempted by a move to premier league champions Manchester city, The citizens made a huge offer of €100 million to the Tottenham board but club president Daniel levy stood his ground and kept his star man.

They started the premier in excellent fashion as they won their first 3 games, They beat defending premier champions Manchester city, Wolverhampton wanderers and new boys Watford.

They went on a losing streak, Losing to London rivals Chelsea, Crystal palace and arsenal, spurs were clearly outmaneuvered as Chelsea held a 3 goal advantage over then while arsenal won the north London derby in exquisite fashion.

Newcastle and Aston villa proved to be tough to handle but the squad perceived and got 2 consecutive wins.

A defeat to west ham started the talk of sacking nuno espirinto Santos but a Burnley win midweek in the carabao cup eased the talk.

Saturday's defeat to Manchester United was the last nail.

Antonio conte has experience in the English premier league as he won the 2016/17 premier trophy with Chelsea and has previously worked with Fabio paratici at Juventus.

He is known to be a demanding and defensive manager, his style of play, 3-5-2 is a football tactic hit,fielding two wingbacks instead of wingers, with two out-and-out strikers backed by an attacking box-to-box midfielder in a three-man midfield, in front of a three-man defensive line. During his time as head coach of Juventus, he won three consecutive Serie A titles using the 3–5–2 and the premier league title with Chelsea.
