My Actifit Report Card: January 19 2023

Hello everyone! Pozdrav svima!

The other day I was feeling blue, I had no energy, I was sleepy all day, just felt like crap. I wrote that off to the weather (it was raining for couple of days straight), my year of production (I crossed into 40s month ago) and overall lack of sleep (we have 6-month old baby in the house, my fifth child).

But today, while I was talking to one of my colleagues, I realized I didn't drink any water during my work day. I drank a cup of coffee in the morning and dove into my work and didn't remember to drink water. I even skipped lunch, so I ate (and finally got some fluids into my system) very late in the afternoon when I got home from work. I was probably dehydrated.

I promised myself I will never do this to myself again. This is something so simple, so easy, and still I let it happen. There is no excuse for not drinking enough water during the day. At least not for a person that (thankfully) lives in a place with abundance of sources of drinking water.

I got myself and nice glass 1 litre bottle and I keep it on my work desk. My plan is to drink at least one whole bottle during the work day, or even two, plus the water I drink at home. Of course when you work out, you have to drink additional amount of water to make up for extra loss of water in your body.
