My Actifit Report Card: January 29 2023

Hello everyone! Pozdrav svima!

Today I hit the gym again, and it didn't feel as awkward as last time. I didn't care about other people and their form, I focused on me and my training.

I did some running on the threadmill to warm myself up, get into the zone. After 15mins I was ready for the main workout.


And today's workout was focused on legs. Yeah legs! I know that might be a shock to a lot of people that almost never do legs workout.

I did some squats, deadlifts, walking and reverse lunges (hate those) and some leg press for the quads.

Of course, I had to repeat all of this couple more times. I really hope I will be able to walk tomorrow when muscles start to be sore. But legs are as importat as upper body, especially when you're trying to lose weight.


Not every day is upper body day!

Don't ignore your legs when you're working out in a gym. I know we all want to have flat 6-pack belly, big biceps and triceps, but legs will help you get there, trust me.

Legs have some of the biggest muscles on your body - glutes and quads. And why is that important? Because muscles burn calories, or at least help you burn them more.

More muscles = more strenght = you can do harder exercises = burn more calories

So don't ignore your glutes! Do squats, like she does. 😎


Stay active, eat healthy - get fit and be happy. 💪
