My Actifit Report Card: February 11 2023
Hello everyone! Pozdrav svima!
Weekend is here! Ah, when I remember how I used to look forward to weekends... That was before I had children, at least when I didn't have five of them. Now my weekends look like a full days work (with non-paid overtime). I actually started looking forward to Monday (I know, I'm awful 😟).
These last couple of weeks were extra hard because kids were all ill, rotating in symptoms, every few days the next one would have a fever or something like that.
That's why I jump on every opportunity to get out of the house. But I cannot go alone, I always have to take at lease one or two kids with me, to allow my wife to take a few minutes of rest.
So today, when the wife said we need some stuff from the supermarket I immediately volunteered to go, and I took my 2 sons (kid 3 and 4) with me. Of course, we took the scenic route to the supermarket, and on our way back we had to stop at the playground. I couldn't say no, they twisted my arm, of course. 😆
We spent half an hour there, and when we add the scenic route it turns out we were out of the house for almost hour and a half. Just enough time for wife to rest and start wondering where we were, oops. So we head home and along the way I was trying to come up with a story where we were for so long. 😝
