My Actifit Report Card: April 8 2023
Hello everyone! Pozdrav svima!
Happy Easter to everyone celebrating it! Today I celebrated Easter with my family, my parents-in-law and my sister-in-law and her husband.
Everything started with an Easter breakfast, one of the most popular meals in Croatia (when you see the pictures you will understand why).
First we have colored eggs (I don't know how they're called in English exactly) which are usually colored the day before. Traditionally it's done by boiling eggs in the water together with red onion skins, red cabbage or whatever releases color. Nowadays you can buy food color and do it with it, but where's the fun in that.
Next we have cooked ham, spring onion, radish, french salad, fresh cheese and sour cream, horseradish. So delicious. 😍
In the end we got various cakes and cookies, each sweeter than the next. As you can see, my wife is a real confectioner. ❤️
I always kid her that she should leave her career as a dentist and start her own confectionery business.
This is very important holiday in Croatia, since major part of the population are Catholics. My girls even make special hairstyle for this day. 😍
