Joys In The Snow: January 20 2024

Hello everyone! Pozdrav svima!

The snow is still here, it hasn't melted, "yay". Since I promised the kids yesterday that we would go sledding somewhere if the snow didn't melt, I had to keep my promise. 😩

I remembered that we could visit Grandpa (my dad) and make him happy with our presence. He lives just outside of the city, on the slopes of Medvednica mountain, and one part of his yard is just right for sledding. 😍

Kids played around the house for couple of hours, drank some hot tea Grandpa made for them, ate some cookies, all in all - they had a blast. We just watched them have fun, laughing at them goofing around, and helping them when they got stuck in the snow.

It was a really nice morning, and the kids slept like babies after that. There's nothing better like some outdoor activity in the fresh air.

Of course, we had to make a snowman before we left. But since we didn't have much time, and the snow wasn't ideal for making snowballs, the result is what it is. 😆
