Description from Strava:

Hello everyone and good afternoon 😁

It has been a couple of days since my last bike ride. I've been very busy lately during the afternoons so I was really itching for a ride today since my son has no school today. As seen in the photo above the weather was quite an "Overcast" weather but I didn't mind. As long as it doesn't really rain I'm fine with it. So I set out not wearing my ice sleeves and gloves since the weather forecast was an "Overcast" weather... As the title says I am planning to go from border to border today. Meaning my first stop is Taloot Argao and then go back and reach Abugon Sibonga for my second stop and go back to the park.

Sadly, just a few minutes into the ride the sun has showed itself blasting me with UV rays 😅 I thought to myself oh okay... It's still fine the sun will hide away in a few minutes soon...

I continued on with my ride and have arrived in Taloot Argao where it was still sunny. Wow will you look at that the sun didn't shy back as I hoped it will 😅 I wanted to go a little more forward to my usual pit-stop in the uphill tower but judging by the heat of the sun during this time I decided to go back. As I already mentioned and can also be seen in the photo above. No Sleeves for PinkHub this afternoon which means I'll be a pork barbecue in just a few minutes 😅

Half way to my town and I can already smell the tasty smell of a roasted pig for some reason 😅 Just look at how bright the view is 🤣

I've finally found a relief to the heat when I arrived at our park. The sun is nowhere to be seen now but I am still thirsty as heck

So I decided to purchase water in this small store right here to quench my thirst. I was hoping that the sun would be hiding behind the clouds now but I guess it didn't want to 😥

I wanted to go and proceed with my plan and go to Barangay Abugon but I was really exhausted by the heat that I really just want to stay still for a while, relax and cool myself down before I proceed on with my ride. I found this vacant tree so I sat down here for probably a good 15 minutes before I went on to challenge my next goal for today.

Lucky for me when I decided to set out to get my 2nd goal for today the sun hide itself behind the clouds so my trip became much more bearable.

I've arrived at Barangay Abugon but I went a little past it to take this picture right here. This is a very bug empty space just beside the National Highway and is still part of Abugon. I took this photo coz the sun can clearly be seen hiding behind those clouds plus that stunning view. I hope to capture this place again using my DSLR and hopefully I can capture it much more beautifully next time. I love this place coz even though it's situated beside the National Highway you can't see any powerlines or telephone lines in the sky which is rare in our place 😅 as powerlines and telephone lines has been a part of our culture for generations lol

Touch down Barangay Abugon! with my second goal now done it is time to head back home.

I went back to the park and decided to stay there to rest while listening to the music that is being played in the big screen as seen in the photo above. This was the first time that I had challenged myself to go from border to border. Although I couldn't do it non-stop (thank you sun) I was still impressed by my achievement for today. I didn't even know that going back and forth from border to border was harder than I anticipated. Going one way or the other both trips are quite easy for me now since I'm already quite used to going to Argao and Carcar City. But going back and forth between the two of them was something on a whole new scale of hardships.

Both ways have their treacherous rides. I would say going to Carcar is much harder than going to Argao although Argao has a much longer riding distance than Carcar. It all comes down to while going to Carcar City you'll be faced with a lot of inclined roads compared to going to Argao. That's not to say going to Argao is easy. It is still a little bit hard but not as hard as I used to think. It's possible that I will be doing this again and again in the future since it is much harder than going one ways.

Anyways this is all for me today guys, I'm so very sleepy while writing this blog. I am so tired and I just wanna crash in my bed 😅 Till next time guys! Cheers! 😎
