Russians and Ukrainians both have this tradition to have a tea with cake after the big holiday meal.

We also do the same nowadays. For us, after every family dinner, dessert is a must, but sometimes we serve tea before dinner...The tradition changes often...Love the table setup and menu as well. It is always nice to have a small family gathering, I used to enjoy such family gatherings a lot...Happy Thanksgiving...
